Robertson County Grazing School

Cumberland River Compact Compact is hosting a Grazing School on May 21 at Draughon Brothers Farm between Springfield and Cross Plains in Robertson County. Greg Brann is teaching the course, focusing on improving managed grazing practices and protecting creeks, sinkholes, and other sensitive resources.

Farmers who attend may be eligible to receive 80% cost-share assistance from the Compact to improve their grazing practices. We are taking on select projects that maximize soil health and protect waterways.

Historically underserved farmers are encouraged to apply.
